An old market town, now with all amenities you would ever need for your break away. Including the magnificent Alnwick Castle, that rises up from the banks of the river Aln and dates back to the 11th century. Along with the more recent addition of the stunning Alnwick gardens, incorporating Europe’s largest Tree House.
Heading slightly further a field. You will find that there are many other interesting things to see and do. Including many more castles, historic buildings, old fishing villages/market towns, golf courses and so much more to explore. Whether you are a golfer, rambler, cyclist, bird watcher, dog walker and so on. Northumberland offers everything you will ever need. With so many breathtaking things to see, such as the cheviot hills, national trust area and lakes. Over the years we have accommodated all of them and see to meet everyone’s needs.

Taking the A1 from Alnwick, you can visit Morpeth market town, take in a film in Newcastle, do some shopping in the Metro Centre, Europe’s shopping centre or even the sealife centre in Tynemouth just to suggest a few.
